Nichols College has recognized 470 students who achieved Dean's List status for their academic work during the spring 2017 semester.
The dean's list recognizes all full-time students (24 or more credit hours earned for the academic year; 12 minimum each semester - September through May) whose term grade point average is 3.50 or higher with no grade below a B- and no incomplete (I) or withdrawal/failing (WF) grades.
Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its spring 2017 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

This will mark the 20th year of the Stonehill Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program, whose purpose is to provide students with an opportunity to perform significant, publishable research under the guidance of an experienced faculty researcher.
Becker College announces its 2017 inductees into the Alpha Chi honor society, which limits membership to the highest ten percent of full-time students in the junior and senior classes. The Massachusetts Theta Chapter of Alpha Chi recognizes and promotes scholarships and those elements of character that contribute to high scholarly achievement.
Lambda Epsilon Sigma is Stonehill College's Honor Society. The purpose of the Society is to recognize and promote scholarship. Juniors and seniors who have attained a 3.50 cumulative grade point average are invited to apply for consideration. Additionally, in order to be inducted into the Society, the student must be recommended by faculty from both within and outside of the student's major.
Loyola University Maryland welcomed the members of its class of 2020. As first-year students embark on their college experience, they will all take part in Loyola's living learning program, Messina. The common text for Messina is How to Win an Election, Quintus Tullius Cicero's letter to his brother, Marcus Cicero, a candidate for Consul (the highest office in the Roman church) in 64 B.C.
This semester, a total of 144 Stonehill students are studying abroad during the Spring 2015 semester in locations throughout the world. Recently named one of the top study abroad institutions in the nation by the Institute of International Education, Stonehill has more than 200 study abroad programs in 35 countries which students can choose from.
At Nazareth College, Orientation for new students includes a community service component, the Orientation Day of Service.
